What’s it like there?

During my working years, I was blessed with jobs that sometimes required travel to different parts of the U.S., Europe and Asia.  Of course, business travel has it’s own purpose and focus, almost always to the detriment of the local attractions.

Now that I’m “retired”, I’ve made an effort to travel to new, and familiar, places with the goal of actively experiencing each place.  The experiences can either be wonderful, or they can be short. The important point is that I, rather than a project schedule, will decide how long each experience will last.
